A Day in the Life

Medtronic is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Calibration Technician II to join our team in Billerica, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for performing calibration and maintenance of precision measurement and test equipment used in the manufacturing of medical devices. Your expertise will help ensure that our products meet the highest quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:


Perform calibration and verification of measurement and test equipment according to established procedures and schedules.




Document calibration results and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory requirements.




Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed, ensuring minimal downtime in production.




Assist in the development and improvement of calibration procedures and processes.




Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support equipment requirements and calibration needs.




Support audits and inspections by maintaining compliance with internal and external quality standards.




Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in calibration practices.







Qualifications





Must Have: Minimum Requirements


High school diploma or equivalent AND




Minimum of 2 years of experience in calibration or a related technical field





Nice to Have


Experience in medical device or highly regulated industry.




Strong understanding of measurement principles and calibration standards (e.g., ISO 17025).





Proficiency in using calibration equipment and software tools.




Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.




Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.




Experience with electronic and mechanical calibration techniques.




Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory requirements in the medical device industry.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$50,000.00 - $75,000.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
