American Custom Exteriors LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Residential Exterior Carpenter to oversee and manage exterior remodeling and new construction projects. As a Lead Residential Exterior Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of quality and craftsmanship while leading installation teams on-site. You will work closely with the owners, ensuring every project meets client expectations and reflects the beauty, durability, and unique appearance that defines our work.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead and manage installation teams on exterior remodeling and new construction projects, ensuring timely and quality completion of all tasks.
• Oversee the installation of siding, windows, doors, decking, and other exterior components with precision and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with the project management team to review blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure projects are completed according to client expectations.
• Conduct on-site inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
• Maintain open communication with clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, materials, and equipment on job sites.
• Train and mentor junior installers, ensuring that safety protocols and installation standards are adhered to.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues, providing solutions to keep projects on track and within budget.
• Ensure the site is clean, organized, and secure at the end of each workday.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in exterior remodeling and/or new construction, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of siding, window, and door installation techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Leadership: Proven ability to manage and lead a team while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site efficiently.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50+ pounds, work in various weather conditions, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Licenses: Valid driver's license required; additional certifications in construction or installation preferred. Ability to pass a background check.
