Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems, including pipes, valves, drainage systems, and fixtures.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan the layout of plumbing systems in commercial buildings.
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify and fix issues before they escalate.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues such as leaks, clogged drains, and malfunctioning fixtures.
- Collaborate with general contractors, architects, and project managers to ensure plumbing installations meet project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with all local plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and other potential issues.
- Accurately maintain records of all work performed, materials used, and time spent on jobs.
- Respond to emergency calls for plumbing issues in commercial properties.
- Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and new plumbing technologies.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a Commercial Plumber.
- Journeyman or Master Plumber license preferred.
- Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
