PRICING MANAGER (TRAVEL)

UP TO £65,000

REMOTE (travel twice a month)

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of driving forward change within the company and own the travel insurance portfolio for this business.

THE COMPANY

This company is one of the top four insurers in the UK and offers multiple products, including home, car, pet, and more.

THE ROLE

You will be doing the following daily:

  • Create exceptional tools to build sustainable pricing changes for the travel insurance portfolio.
  • Manage 3rd party relationships with potential data and capability providers.
  • Act as an SME in the travel pricing space and answer any customer queriers related to pricing.
  • Establish a team focusing on implementing AI/ML use across different parts of the travel pricing chain.
  • Evaluate and advise on overall pricing structure, to optimise long term profitability through pricing.
  • Design and implement pricing tests to understand customer behaviour like elasticity, and challenge industry ways of traditional pricing.
  • Review external and internal data sources for value to insurance pricing.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Prior leadership/mentoring experience.
  • A minimum of 3+ years in an insurance/pricing role.
  • Experience working across a travel insurance portfolio.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL is essential.
