Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Fund Financial Controller to join our Fund Finance team. This role will be instrumental in enhancing our function to become a best-in-class, multi-fund finance team. You will be involved in fund reporting, third-party management, and ensuring the highest standards of review and control processes. You will play a key role in supporting fund launches, establishing robust financial controls, driving operational excellence, and streamlining financial reporting.


This is an exciting opportunity to shape and elevate the fund finance function while contributing to the overall success of our fund businesses.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Fund NAV and fund accounting processes in coordination with service providers; oversee quarterly fund reporting.
  • Implement controls in the review of quarterly allocation files and capital statements.
  • Prepare calculations related to funds, including equalisation, management fees, drawdowns, IRRs, and currency hedge exposure.
  • Oversee fund liquidity management, from preparing capital calls to distribution recommendations, ensuring timely coordination with relevant parties.
  • Lead and manage the audit process, including the preparation and review of financial statements and investor deliverables.
  • Create and maintain multi-level intercompany loans/RCF and ensure reporting accuracy with guidance to third-party administrators.
  • Handle various levels of reporting, including tax, portfolio, regulatory, client, and counterparty reporting, as well as ad-hoc requests.
  • Address internal and external queries professionally and efficiently.
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects aimed at improving fund oversight models and internal controls, and contribute to the fund finance team’s growth.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified accountant with experience in fund accounting or third-party administration, focusing on alternative investments.
  • Strong technical understanding of fund legal documents, oversight models, and financial and fund accounting.
  • Expertise in Lux-based parallel funds and complex SPV structures.
  • Proven experience in multi-currency fund management and reporting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to identify areas for process improvement.
