The Role:

• Joining an established dispute resolution team as a Contentious Probate Solicitor at either Associate or Partner level.
• You will be responsible for handling a varied caseload of contentious probate matters, including will disputes, inheritance claims, and trust disputes.
• Responsibilities include advising trustees/executors, private banks, individuals, and charities on trust and will/estate disputes. The role offers genuine career development within the Litigation team and the wider firm. Business development and building client and referrer relationships are key aspects of this role.
• As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the department, providing leadership and guidance to junior solicitors, and contributing to the continued growth and success of the firm.

Requirements:

• Qualified solicitor with extensive experience in Contentious Trusts and Probate.
• STEP or ACTAPS qualification is an advantage.
• Professional, client-focused approach.
• Good time management and IT skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Team player, self-motivated, flexible, and resilient.
