Butcher

We are seeking either a young enthusiastic individual that is keen on learning Butchery and is passionate about entering the Butchery Industry or a skilled Butcher to join our team in preparing high-quality meats for our customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and a passion for butchery if already qualified or if a trainee this experience will be given.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to cut up meats and meat preperation
• Ensure proper storage and handling of all meat products
• Operate and maintain cutting equipment
• Assist in inventory levels
• Uphold high standards of food safety and cleanliness
• Provide excellent customer service by offering advice on meat selection and cooking techniques

Requirements if experienced:

• Proven experience as a Butcher or similar role
• Knowledge of various cuts of meat and their best preparation methods
• Familiarity with food safety regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced butchery environment
• Strong attention to detail and precision in meat cutting
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues

Requirements if trainee:

• Passion and enthusiasm to listen and learn
• Good at interacting with people
• A willing to work /good attendance

Working hours can be discussed to meet both ours and candidates. Wage will be discussed with candidate depending on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £6.40-£12.00 per hour
