Job Description

An opportunity for a Fabricator/Welder to work 2 x shifts to join a Global Business, that manufacture highly engineering products for the oil & gas, power generation and aerospace & defence markets.

Our client have already engaged in the delivery of a wide range of high profile projects and on the back of this they have been recently awarded another major contract and thus are looking to add a Fabricator/Welder on a Permanent Contract.

Our Global Client is backed by extensive years of innovation and extensive research from design to production.

DUTIES for the role of Fabricator /Welder :

  • Production duties including welding + fabrication.
  • Welds metals, including stainless and carbon steel, utilizing - MIG /TIG/MMA Welding processes.
  • Marking out, fit up and fabricate assemblies, and complete welding of finished assemblies.
  • Repair welding to fill holes, fill casting defects, surface build-up and weld metal overlay for wear and corrosion resistant requirements.
  • Ensuring that components meet the drawing specification and quality standards.


KEEN to speak to Fabricator/Welders :

  • Time served /Apprentice Trained Fabricators/Welders
  • Experience in utilizing gas - GMAW/ GTAW/ SMAW welding processes.
  • Able to mark, fit, fabricate and assemble complex assemblies.
  • Able to work 2 shifts , Days + Nights rotating.


THE offer for the role of Fabricator /Welder :

  • Average yearly earnings have been up to £35,000 per annum including overtime + shift allowances.
  • Plenty of overtime available - Saturday + Sundays.
  • Company PENSION AT 10%.
