Data Analyst

Data Analyst | Private Equity | London/Hybrid | Contract Outside IR35 - up to £450/day

We are looking for a Data Analyst to support the Data Engineering team or a Private Equity Data Analytics company. They are backed by one of the largest funds within Europe but still have that great scale-up culture.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the financial data.
• Responsible for maintaining data consistency across multiple platforms and applications.
• Collaboration with teams like data engineering, QA, product, and software engineering will be crucial to uphold data quality standards and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Data Quality Assurance & Data Testing & Verification

Requirements:

Must have:

• Experience in private equity or accounting, with a strong understanding of industry practices and standards.
• Basic SQL knowledge and a willingness to develop data-related skills. Experience with large datasets is an advantage.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Technical Tools: Familiarity with DBT (Data Build Tool) and PostgreSQL.
• Accounting Background: Prior experience in accounting or financial data analysis, with the ability to apply this knowledge to data quality tasks.
• Data Engineering: Understanding of data engineering practices, including data pipelines and ETL processes.
