About the Trading Software Engineer Role
What You Will Do:
- Design and develop components for next-generation trading platform using Go and Python.
- Collaborate directly with quants and traders to create tools that enhance trading capabilities and impact the P&L.
- Transition monolithic applications to modern, high-performance solutions.
- Contribute to building scalable systems with a focus on low latency, robustness, and high performance.
- Work on a dynamic tech stack, including AWS, Go, Python, and C++. Previous experience across all technologies is not required—the team is open to you learning on the job.
- Optimise platform performance, maintain code quality, and support the development process.

- Be part of an exciting transition to a new Go-based stack, evolving from Python.
- Work closely with trading teams and quants, with each project offering the chance to directly influence trading performance.

Ideal Requirements for This Role:
- Strong programming expertise in Go, Python, C++ or Java.
- Experience developing high-performance, scalable systems—in front-office trading environments.
- Familiarity with Linux and shell scripting.
- Analytical problem-solver with a proactive approach and excellent communication skills.
- Passion for financial markets, digital assets, and cryptocurrencies.
