Quality Manager Position - North Kansas City Facility

Position Overview:

A leading Fortune 500 company in the ingredient solutions sector is on the lookout for a Quality Manager at their North Kansas City facility. The selected individual will play a pivotal role in upholding the high standards of quality for which the company's products are known, encompassing a range of items from sweeteners to plant proteins.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct and manage all aspects of quality assurance and quality control.

- Uphold stringent food safety regulations, including BRC, SQF, and HACCP standards.

- Perform routine audits and uphold FSQA protocols.

- Lead a dedicated team, including 7 direct reports, totaling approximately 15 members.

- Engage with union representatives and navigate the nuances of a unionized workforce.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a managerial capacity within the food industry.

- A solid foundation in FSQA and familiarity with laboratory operations.

- Demonstrated ability in leadership and team management.

- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing work environment.
