SENIOR AUTOMATION TEST ENGINEER - UP TO £65K - MANCHESTER (2X A WEEK)

An internationally renowned software house based in Manchester are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join their team.

They have a small existing QA function, who are integrated with the development team, however due to the speed and velocity of new work that the teams developing, they are in need of an Senior Automation Test Engineer to help support the build of their products which are used worldwide.

What will you be working on?

• As a Senior Automation Test Engineer, you’ll be leading the development and execution of automation test strategies for large-scale projects
• You’ll be hands-on, supporting a small squad of 3 testers. Since automation is new to the team, you’ll also be supporting manual testers on automation tools.
• Building and maintaining automated frameworks using Typescript, Playwright, and Postman, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet quality goals. (They are happy to help cross train people into playwright if you already have strong automation skills)
