Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Company Overview:

RunThrough Kit began in 2020 as an extension of the successful RunThrough UK events business, founded by Ben Green and Matt Wood in 2013. Today, RunThrough Kit serves runners, clubs, gym-goers, charities, and more, offering bespoke apparel and custom in-house printing services from our head office and warehouse in Manchester. We take pride in being a key part of the active journey for our global community.

Key Responsibilities:


Business Development:

- Drive growth and business opportunities for RunThrough Kit, focusing on expanding client bases such as runners, charities, and corporate clients.

- Identify and pursue new revenue streams, including partnerships with charities, organisations, and the wider fitness community.


Operational Management:

- Oversee daily operations, including procurement, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring seamless processes and efficiency.

- Line manage a team of 3 staff members, ensuring they are effectively contributing to business objectives and customer satisfaction.

- Ensure smooth coordination and timely delivery of event t-shirts and kit to all RunThrough events across the UK.


Event Participation:

- Attend approximately 20 large-scale events per year nationwide, focusing on events with high sales potential.

- Ensure the smooth running of on-site sales operations at events, maximising exposure and sales opportunities.


Charity Partnerships:

- Collaborate with **Run for Charity** to manage the charity kit side of the business, producing apparel for runners raising funds for charitable causes.

- Ensure quality control and timely delivery of charity apparel, maintaining strong relationships with partner charities.


Online Sales Management:

- Oversee the online store, ensuring a seamless customer experience from product selection to delivery.

- Work closely with the Kit Logistics Manager to maintain smooth procurement, warehousing, and distribution processes for online orders.


Social Media Engagement:

- Collaborate with the social media team to ensure consistent brand voice and high-quality content across all channels, regularly posting relevant updates.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the retail, e-commerce, or sports apparel industry.

- Understanding of how to build a brand and develop business goals & targets

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team effectively.

- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

- Experience in business development and managing client relationships.

- A valid driving licence is required for this role.

- A passion for fitness, running, or outdoor events is a plus.

- Willingness to travel and attend events across the UK as needed.
