You’ll receive full training and guidance to develop your teaching skills, complete a teaching qualification and enable you to make a real difference in the lives of learners.
Desirable; if you also come from a Childcare, Health and Social Care, Hospitality or Catering background that would be an advantage!
Job Title: Maths and English Trainee Tutor (Unqualified Tutor opportunity)
Location: Home/Field based – you must be flexible with home/online based delivery, along with visiting learners in their place of work
Starting Salary: £26,000, progressing to £30,000 upon completion of Teaching qualifications + Bonus, Mileage from home + excellent wider benefits package
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Duties:
Deliver Functional Skills English and Maths via a blended learning approach (online, with occasional face-to-face delivery) – planning your own diary.
The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods, providing differentiation and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.
Utilise existing delivery resources, as well as preparing own when required.
Monitor learner progression, by offering ongoing feedback and guidance.
Assist learners in identifying the skills required to progress towards their career aspirations.
The successful candidate must be engaging and able to demonstrate energy and passion to motivate / train clients in order to help learners realise their potential.
Promote Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Health and Safety. Essential Criteria:
Must hold a minimum of 5 years' continuous / current employment history.
Must be enthusiastic and passionate about Maths and English.
Hold a Maths and/or English at Level 2 / GCSE equivalents.
Demonstrable energy and passion to motivate and train learners.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Demonstrate confidence, tenacity and ability to work on own initiative.
Full, clean, UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.Please note:
