Head of Department - Logistics required for a reputable automotive manufacturing company based in Brits , Gauteng Requirements: Diploma in Logistics Management Matric (Gr. 12) Min 5 years Automotive experience within Logistics senior position Material requirement planning Syspro and Translution experience will be an advantage JIS and JIT supply experience Automotive quality systems & audits Logistics legal requirements [SARS, Rebate] Responsibilities: Oversee material planning activities. Inform & monitor production to maintain correct levels of finished goods. Management of logistical projects and cost reduction programs. Monitor critical task within the department. Manage bi-annual stock take and coordinate with auditors. Monthly reporting internally and to the company Manage Outbound logistics. Drive Production Systems within Logistics. Manage all Logistics vehicles. Schedule training as per the approved training investment plan. Implementation of projects withing the logistics department. Ensure you and your subordinates achieve the agreed Targets and Objectives. MMOG Plant Lead. Maintain Logistics processes as per audit requirements [IATF/ISO].
