Engineering Manager (GCC)

Key Responsibilities: Operational Oversight: Ensure the safe and efficient movement of personnel and materials in the plant. Maintenance Management: Oversee maintenance operations, ensuring equipment is functioning optimally and schedules are maintained. Project Implementation: Manage capital projects to enhance plant capabilities, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Performance Improvement: Develop and implement programs to sustain high standards of equipment availability and reliability. Utilities Optimization: Optimize utilities operations to support production departments effectively. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments. Team Development: Assess staff performance, identify training needs, and provide development opportunities. Qualifications: Education: National N Diploma (N5/T3) in Mechanical or Electrotechnical (Heavy Current) or Engineering Diploma. Experience: 5 years in a supervisory or management role within a similar environment, with relevant technical experience. Certifications: Trade Test as an Artisan (Mechanical/Electrical/Millwright) and Government Certification of Competency. Skills Required: Strong understanding of corrugator and converting machines. Basic computer and financial literacy. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
