Product Owner

Key Responsibilities: Immerse in the Product : Fully engage with the app, becoming an expert on its functionality, user experience, and potential improvements. Actively use the product to identify opportunities and pain points. Define Product Vision & Roadmap : Develop and communicate the product vision in alignment with business goals, focusing on creating a seamless and data-free messaging experience. Backlog Management : Own, prioritize, and refine the product backlog based on user needs, technical feasibility, and business impact. User Stories & Acceptance Criteria : Write clear and actionable user stories, defining acceptance criteria that meet both business and user needs. Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with internal stakeholders (marketing, customer support, business development) to gather requirements, understand the market, and integrate feedback into the product roadmap. Sprint Planning & Execution : Lead sprint planning sessions, coordinate with the development team, and ensure timely and successful delivery of features. Market Research & Competitor Analysis : Stay up to date with trends in mobile messaging, particularly data-free solutions, and incorporate findings into the product strategy. User Testing & Feedback : Facilitate user testing and feedback loops to ensure the app continually meets user expectations and improves over time. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Act as the bridge between engineering, design, and marketing to align on the product strategy and execution. Data & Metrics : Use analytics and user data to inform decision-making and measure the success of product features. Skills & Experience Required: Experience : 4 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably with mobile apps or messaging platforms. Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with data-free services, mobile messaging apps, and user experience best practices. Technical Understanding : Solid understanding of mobile app development, including back-end and front-end technologies. Experience with data optimization for low-bandwidth or data-free environments is a plus. Agile Methodology : Strong experience working within Agile frameworks, particularly Scrum, and an ability to manage product development in sprints. Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire stakeholders at all levels. Problem-Solving : A proactive problem-solver with a customer-centric mindset and the ability to think strategically. Data-Driven Decision Making : Experience using data to make informed product decisions, with a strong grasp of analytics tools. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment. Knowledge of or experience with data-free technologies (such as reverse billing, data sponsorship). A background in UI/UX design or a keen eye for what makes a great user experience.
