Fhir Java Developer

Work Location: This position is remote Job Description : A skilled contractor developer with expertise in FHIR and Java is required to support the implementation of a healthcare interoperability project as defined by CMS. The contractor will collaborate with both the development and business teams to design, develop, and implement FHIR-based API solutions that meet CMS requirements. Responsibilities : Extensive familiarity with FHIR specifications and infrastructure, with in-depth knowledge of HL7 FHIR standards and their application in healthcare data exchange. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define specifications for data exchange. Develop conceptual and detailed architectures for APIs using FHIR resources. Design, develop, and implement HL7 FHIR interfaces and solutions. Test and troubleshoot HL7 FHIR implementations to ensure reliability and compatibility. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate the web application seamlessly with FHIR API endpoints and other data sources. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing HL7 FHIR interfaces. Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for healthcare data exchange. Document designs, implementations, and configurations for future reference. Required Skills: Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and programming languages such as Java, Spring Boot, and JavaScript. Strong understanding of the HL7 FHIR 4.0.1 standard and FHIR implementation guides, including DaVinci, CARIN, US Core, etc. Experience in data mapping of source data sets to FHIR resources. At least 6 months of experience in HL7 FHIR implementation. Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development. Hands-on experience with OAuth. Deep understanding of AWS cloud services and AWS DevOps. Experience in securing APIs.
