We are WAGI WAGI is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our endoscopy ambulatory surgery center. The (CRNA) is responsible for patient care before, during, and after a procedure by performing a patient assessment, preparing the patient for anesthesia, administering and maintaining the anesthesia to ensure proper sedation and pain management, overseeing patient recovery from anesthesia, and caring for the patient's immediate post-operative needs. Responsibilities Performs patient assessment for planned anesthesia treatment, reviews patient medical records and conditions Communicates with the patient regarding the anesthetic plan and answers any patient questions or concerns May prepare the patient IV and set up monitoring devices to check blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation of the patient during the procedure Monitors the patient's status throughout the procedure and adjusts the medications accordingly Assists nursing staff during patient recovery, assessing for adverse effects to anesthesia care Responds to patient emergencies using standard procedures for maintaining the patient airway, emergency drug and fluid management, and any life support measures needed Responsible for other aspects such as patient record management and restocking carts and supplies Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) Required, Field of Study: Nursing Master's Degree or Work Equivalent, Field of Study: Nurse Anesthetist Current NBCRNA Certification Current ACLS and BLS Certifications Current Washington State APRN and RN Licensure Minimum 1 year experience in an unsupervised clinical setting preferred Anesthesia experience in a fast-paced outpatient setting preferred Skills and Abilities Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to actively attend to, convey, and understand the comments and questions of others Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively with the team providing care Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures The ability to formulate a sound decision using the available information Ability to cohesively integrate multiple sources of medical information into planned care Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Adheres to workplace PPE requirements and AANA safe injection practices Physical Activities and Requirements Prolonged periods of standing and walking Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and kneel occasionally Ability to assist patients supporting weight, assisting in positioning of patients, etc. Ability to grasp small objects and manipulate medical instruments Ability to reach including reaching overhead and below the waist Ability to lift 10 pounds frequently, occasional lifting 25 pounds Ability to push/pull up to 50 lbs Local travel in the region may be required to other locations as needed Washington Gastroenterology has an excellent compensation and benefit package that includes the following: Employees (and their families) who work full time (defined as working 30 or more hours per week) will be eligible for medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, accidental death and dismemberment, and basic life insurance . In addition, employees are able to enroll in our companys 401(k) plan which includes a company provided safe harbor contribution of 3% of annual earnings and the potential for a company discretionary profit-sharing contribution. All employees will be eligible to accrue PTO at a rate of .04 hours per payroll hour (1.6 hours for a 40-hour week) which can be used for and exceeds the required mandatory WA State and other local ordinances. In addition, full-time employees will be eligible for a Vacation accrual with a maximum annual accrual of 160 hours as a new hire. WAGI has 8 standard Holidays each year for which full-time employees are eligible to receive paid holiday. In addition, full-time employees will be given 1 Float Holiday each year that they can schedule. A new hire full-time employee in this role will be eligible for a $10,000 Hiring Bonus . This is a Salary position and the anticipated Compensation range is $230,000 - $300,000 . The hired applicant is also eligible for annual discretionary bonuses.
