We are working with a global leader who have been established for 60 years and specialise gear, shafts and machined components for the aerospace, F1, Motorsport, Medical, Marine etc. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Centre Lather Turner to join the team.

Key skills required of the Centre Lather Turner:

• Previous experience as Centre Lather Turner required within a manufacturing or machining setting at least 4 years
• Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) with a keen ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Exceptional mechanical acumen coupled with a comprehensive understanding of metalworking principles.
• Thorough knowledge of cutting tools, materials, and various machining techniques.
• Skilled in conducting precise measurements using an array of precision instruments such as micrometres, callipers, and gauges.
• Proficiency in basic computer operations for data entry and machine control.
• Proven track record of problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork.

The successful Centre Lather Turner will be primarily run an XYZ proturn semi cnc centre lathe. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and experienced centre lather turner with a strong commitment to quality and efficiency. Shift patterns are:

Early shift Monday Thursday 6am to 2.15pm

Late Shift Monday to Thursday -1400 to 1200

Shift Premium - Over time rates are available
