National Account Manager


Do you have experience in managing national accounts and handling long-term customer relationships in a sales environment?


Are you well-versed in identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities to drive revenue growth and achieve increased sales targets?


Do you have experience using your problem solving skills in challenging situations?


MacGregor Black are partnering with a Leading Food business on the search for a National Account Manager This is a perm, hybrid role, based in Manchester.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage and maintain customer accounts to ensure long-term success and satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities and potential business ventures.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Track progress towards account targets and implement strategies to meet or exceed them.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to contribute to the development and execution of advertising campaigns.


What are we looking for?


  • 3-4 years’ experience in a sales position, with a successful history of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of sales metrics and the ability to analyse sales data to make informed decisions.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Creativity in developing innovative sales strategies and approaches.
  • Results-driven with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.


Salary – up to £50k doe
