Bookkeeper

Bookeeper - North London/Hybrid/Remote - up to 30k

My client is an award-winning specialist tour operator who specialises in luxury holidays as well as tailormade holidays, escorted tours and cruises, for discerning clients to their specialist destinations in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

Due to continued growth, they are now recruiting for a Bookkeeper to take ownership of the daily reconciliation of the bank accounts and travel systems. The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring suppliers are paid on time as well as running reports and chasing money receivable along with many other duties. The role can be Office (North London), Hybrid or Remote for exceptional candidates, they will pay up to 30k depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Daily Reconciliation of multiple bank accounts and travel systems.
• Checking and setting up of supplier invoices/statements and ensuring payments are made to suppliers by due date.
• Running reports and chasing client and travel agent balances.
• Liaising and maintaining good relationships with supplier accounts departments and agent partners.
• Coordinate with accountants / auditors for the final preparation of annual financial statements.
• Assist in preparation of monthly reports and management accounts.

Job Requirements

1. Previous bookkeeping experience is preferred.
2. Proven commercial, communication, and analytical skills.
3. Can demonstrate that they can work in a small team and an appetite for getting their hands dirty.
4. Can demonstrate achievements in multi-tasking meeting tough deadlines.
5. Experience using XERO system.
