Head of HR Shared Services

Head of HR Operations/Shared Service, Greater Manchester, up to c£80,000 plus excellent benefits, permanent.

Our client, a large well known organisation, and a leading player in their field, have been through an exciting journey of change. As a result, they are seeking a Head of HR Services to help shape the future of HR services, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and aligned with the company’s strategic goals.

Reporting to the HR Director, this role is accountable for the day-to-day operational excellence in the management of employee lifecycle activities to employees across a number of sites. The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to develop and enhance HR solutions which enable business performance and are scalable to meet future needs. Working closely with the wider HR team, this role will contribute to the implementation of the overall HR Strategy, specifically contributing to a HRIS journey towards greater self-service, more automation, better data and increased standardised approach to process. A Strong People leader, you will lead and develop a team whilst continuously improving ways of working, streamlining processes and ensuring the business is educated on new ways of working, and the value of an efficient Shared Service offering.

Ideally with experience of working in a customer facing, consumer driven businesses, you are a strong HR Operations/HR Shared Services professional with a proven track record in leading HR operations and systems within a matrix environment. With strong leadership and influencing skills, you can build relationships at all levels, inspire your team, and deliver ambitious outcomes that support the company’s HR strategy.
