DevOps Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong background in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud operations, specifically with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions. The ideal candidate will have experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripting languages, system monitoring tools, and cloud infrastructure maintenance. Familiarity with Azure services, networking, security, and development on Azure is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and YAML.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation scripts using PowerShell, Python.
• Implementation, deployment, and maintenance of Spark jobs
• Deployment and maintenance of Power BI deliveries
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise system performance using system monitoring tools and best practices for infrastructure maintenance.
• Ensure high availability and scalability of cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure and applications.
• Work with version control and source code management tools to manage infrastructure changes.
• Implement and maintain cloud security and networking practices to safeguard infrastructure and applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipeline automation.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, YAML, and other declarative infrastructure automation frameworks.
• Solid experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Python for automation and infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with system monitoring tools and best practices for infrastructure health monitoring and maintenance.
• Good understanding of Azure security, networking, and cloud operations.
• Streaming data platform paradigms and technologies knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in managing Azure development resources such as Databases, Virtual Machines, Container Images, Kubernetes, and cloud-native applications.
• Exposure to Azure Synapse Analytics, Big Data systems, and data engineering on Azure platforms.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Azure Synapse, Big Data systems, and cloud-native applications.
