Job Description

Power Platform Specialist


Responsibilities:

· Stay up to date with latest Power Platform (PP) features & updates and assess their suitability for the organisation and recommend improvements to existing PP Solutions.

· Design & Develop IS Solutions using the Power Platform suite and other technologies.

· Use conventional scripting to enhance applications beyond low code solutions.

· Lead on connected services via API integrations with D365ERP and other services.

· Troubleshoot and optimise Power Platform Solutions, including Connected Apps via API’s, Webhooks etc.

· for knowledge transfer to junior members of the team.

· Establish & promote best practises for Power Platform & IS Solutions.

· Create supporting documentation, process & policy for Power Platform Applications & IS Solutions.

· Create & establish best practises using DevOps to manage projects & enhancements.

· Support digital transformation projects.

· Work with a variety of stakeholders to scope business requirements, to understand their data needs and translate them into functional Power Platform and IS solutions.

· Manage projects from initiation to go-Live, with regular updates delivered to the IT Manager & C-Suite.

· Work with Power BI team to deliver reporting on new Power Platform Applications & Solutions.

· Deliver L1-L2 training for junior members of the team for IS support model.

· Develop and oversee delivery of end-user training to assist in Power Platform Applications & Solutions adoption.

· Provide training and at User and Administrator level.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Essential

· Proven Experience of the Power Platform Suite (Power Apps, Automate, BI, Canvass, etc.)

· Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM/ERP solutions, including Dynamics 365.

· Understanding of ITIL methodology, with an ability to implement changes.

· Understanding of Azure services & Entra.

· Experience of API & other methods of application integration.

· Project Management experience.

· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

· Ability to lead and manage junior members of a small team.


Preferred

· Power Platform Certifications.

· SharePoint Experience.

· Previous team leading or developing experience.

· Experience of front-end development using JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Liquid.

· Exposure to manufacturing or production environments.
