Job Summary: The Business Analyst will support our internal digital transformation projects, working with key stakeholders to identify business needs. Taking the lead to facilitate and deliver business process improvements. The successful candidate will be responsible for process mapping, design, and the collation of user requirements to ensure the successful implementation of digital solutions within our Design and Install department. This role is crucial to enhancing our operational efficiency and delivering high-quality services to our clients. The primary focus of this role is to review and enhance our quotation systems, CRM, and finance processes, gather and analyse user requirements, generate system specifications, and collaborate with vendors and project managers to implement solutions. This role is crucial for driving our transformation initiatives and delivering measurable improvements in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Analyse current quotation systems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Document existing processes and workflows to understand pain points and inefficiencies.
  • Aim to reduce turnaround times and improve the visual quality of our design presentations.
  • Conduct interviews, surveys, and workshops with stakeholders to gather detailed user requirements.
  • Collaborate with design and sales teams to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Identify software skills and systems necessary to meet these requirements.
  • Develop detailed specifications for the required system enhancements based on gathered requirements.
  • Ensure specifications align with business goals and user needs.
  • Include integration requirements for linking CRM, quoting, design, and finance systems.
  • Review current finance systems and processes to identify integration opportunities.
  • Work with finance teams to understand their requirements for system improvements.
  • Ensure the new system integrates seamlessly with back-office finance processes for order processing and financial reporting.
  • Identify potential vendors and evaluate their solutions against the specifications.
  • Conduct vendor assessments, including cost-benefit analysis and feasibility studies.
  • Work with selected vendors to ensure successful implementation of the system.
  • Partner with the project manager to develop and execute project plans.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with timelines and budget.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders and the project team.
  • Support the implementation of the new quotation, CRM, and finance systems and processes.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users and provide ongoing support.
  • Measure and report on the benefits realised from the new system, such as improved turnaround times, enhanced customer satisfaction, and streamlined financial processes.
  • Review with each head of department and senior operators the day-to-day operations.
  • Gain an understanding of pain points in their working day.
  • Conduct workshops to discuss common pain points within teams.
  • Provide a set of recommendations for further improvements, focusing on areas where training or systems can alleviate issues.
  • Evaluate the potential of AI and other advanced technologies for future system enhancements.
  • Develop strategies to incorporate these technologies into our systems for long-term benefits.


Requirements:


  • Ideally Degree educated within a related field.
  • Minimum four years’ experience within a Business Analyst role.
  • Industry experience within design and installation would be highly beneficial.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions.
  • Resourcefulness and ability to devise creative solutions to problems.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with digital transformation projects and knowledge of current digital technologies and trends.
  • Experience with CRM, Quotation and Finance software would be highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in working within an agile project management framework.
