Job Description

The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving revenue through the acquisition of Confidential Guides deals. This role involves meeting with prospective clients in the Manchester area and surrounding regions, as well as utilising telesales to build relationships and hit weekly and monthly targets. The Business Development Executive will use a CRM system to manage leads, deliver proposals, and track activities. Building rapport and identifying opportunities for repeat business are crucial aspects of this role, with the potential for progression into B2B sales and selling other Confidential products.

Responsibilities:

1. Telesales:

- Engage in telesales activities to reach out to prospective clients.

- Build trust and rapport with potential clients through confident telephone communication.

2. Fact Finding:

- Conduct in-person visits to businesses on prospect lists.

- Gather information about the business and identify key contacts.

3. Data Management:

- Thoroughly understand and utilise the CRM system.

- Deliver proposals to prospects in a timely manner.

- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system.

- Update and complete the sales tracker on a weekly basis.

4. Business Development:

- Continuously search for new business opportunities and potential prospects.

- Convert and retain clients through effective relationship management.

- Profile and target potential clients for Confidential Guides deals.

5. Commission Structure:

- Monthly/Quarterly: 25% commission on the first payment, 10% ongoing commission.

- Annual: 25% commission on the first payment.

- Repeats: 10% ongoing.

6. Holiday Entitlement:

- Annual holiday entitlement of 20 days.

- Holiday entitlement increases by 1 day per completed year of service, up to a maximum of 25 days, exclusive of bank holidays.

This role requires a proactive approach to sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. The Business Development Executive will play a pivotal role in expanding the Confidential Guides business in the specified regions and contributing to revenue growth.


The ideal candidate will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle. They should be confident in building new client relationships and maintaining existing ones. They should have evidence of strong skills and possess good negotiation skills.
