ABOUT BREAKTHROUGH ACADEMY Breakthrough Academy specializes in helping innovative entrepreneurs in the contracting industry grow their businesses by implementing excellent operational systems into their companies. We believe in the unlimited potential of entrepreneurship and help our Members (clients) break through barriers and take their businesses to the next level. Our proprietary training program brings systemization to a company’s operations, develops an entrepreneur’s core business skills, and holds accountability to goals along with a clear business plan. Breakthrough Academy is now nine years old and continuing to grow rapidly, with over 900 business owners developing in the program and an awesome team of 50 running the show. We’ve had a tremendous track record of growth over the past 9 years. To fuel Breakthrough Academy’s future development, we’ll continue to add many exciting roles and people in the coming years. Because of this, we’re looking for our next master conversationalist who talks the talks and thrives on crushing goals to join our Sales Team This is where you come in. THIS IS FOR YOU IF: You enjoy sales and excel at opening relationships with warm prospects You have a natural ability to build relationships and trust quickly with strangers You love making phone calls and have mastered the game of follow-up You pride yourself with your exceptional time management skills—you can juggle multiple projects and time zones, keep a well-organized calendar, and always show up on time You are innately curious, love getting to know people, and genuinely care about helping others You are quick on your feet with excellent problem-solving skills in real-time situations Your sense of humor and positive attitude doesn't let anything phase you You’re easygoing and personable, but nothing feels better than crossing tasks off your to-do list You are positive, personable, and lovingly persistent in your approach You are a self starter that produces results independently while promoting a positive team environment You are a true team player who puts the team’s success first and don’t mind a healthy dose of competition You have an entrepreneurial spirit, enjoy talking about business, and have a basic understanding of how it could feel running a trades business IN THE ROLE, YOU WILL BE: Acting as a brand ambassador with new and past prospects Reaching out and connecting with qualified sales prospects over the phone, text, and email Jumping into Discovery Calls, getting to know prospects, and qualifying them for their next steps Managing and prioritizing your call flow to optimize opportunities Sharing your knowledge of Breakthrough Academy’s program and offerings Assessing the needs, goals, and pain points of business owners and gaging their potential fit to join our community Working in a fast-paced, high-achieving team environment Meeting your daily targets of call volume and moving prospects through the sales funnel Supporting the sales team to achieve weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual goals Managing tools such as Zoho, Schedule Once, Google Calendar, etc. like a pro, keeping everything organized and on track Managing projects in our project management system to ensure deadlines are hit and everything runs smoothly Responsible for keeping consistent communication with the rest of the sales team Teaming up with the Sales Team for weekly huddles and brainstorming sessions EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 2 years of experience working in a sales environment or customer service support Experience with sales calls or in a call centre environment Experience working in a hybrid setting with a tight knit, team Has displayed a passion for entrepreneurship Experience at conducting calls while accurately taking notes and capturing key insights Exceptional written and oral communication skills Familiarity with tools like RingCentral, Slack, Asana, CRM, Apple products Must be able to travel to our awesome in person Member & Team Events - we have a ton of fun together in epic locations from the beaches of Tulum to the mountains of Colorado Must be eligible to work in Canada Located in the Greater Vancouver Area and available for a hybrid work schedule The Nice to Haves: Strong knowledge of the trades industry Experience working with Zoho CRM THE BENEFITS Make a real impact by helping trades entrepreneurs level up their businesses and achieve their goals Spend your days building real connections with people who value your support and expertise A unique opportunity to help others and yourself supercharge skills—with our structured processes and support, your organizational and people skills will skyrocket Gain invaluable insights into the operations of successful entrepreneurs' companies Collaborate with a dynamic team of high-performing individuals who thrive on teamwork Enjoy the flexibility of working within a team that embraces remote work opportunities A competitive salary and great benefits Enjoy cool travel perks in fun locations - our team events this year range from Carribean beaches to peaceful BC hot springs If this sounds like you and you feel ready to take on an awesome new adventure, we want to hear from you We thank you for your time and interest.
