Inside Sales Representative, Industrial

Hello My name is Talisha. I am the Human Resource Manager at Summit Valve and Controls. We currently invite a Technical Inside Sales person to join our team. We have branches in Edmonton (Alberta), Port Coquitlam (BC), and Saskatoon (Saskatchewan). This role will be working out of the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan division, focusing on the industrial market. To be successful in the role you will have exemplary attention to detail and critical thinking skills. We are looking for a team player with the right attitude. You don't need to have valve experience to apply, but if you do have a mechanical aptitude, experience with instrumentation or valves, or experience in the mining or water industry, that could help This role is a customer service focused role, designed to answer customer inquiries and assist with their valve and instrumentation needs. No cold calling here The job description includes: Provide customers with accurate, knowledgeable information concerning represented products and their suitability for customers’ applications. Primary point of contact for customers in the industrial sector, primarily day-to-day and complex orders Collaborate with team members as required to ensure appropriate expectations, deliverables, and communications. Prepare technical proposals in response to customers' requirements; including sizing, calibration, design, etc. Assist with shipping and receiving as required Enter and track orders through Summit's ERP system As a qualified candidate you should have: A solid understanding of office 365; Excel, Word (and Sharepoint considered an asset) A degree of aptitude for software - to learn our ERP system A friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor A natural curiousity, trying new things, testing new processes, asking questions Organization and time management skills A drive to achieve - what can I say?
