ABOUT BREAKTHROUGH ACADEMY Breakthrough Academy specializes in helping innovative entrepreneurs in the contracting industry grow their businesses by implementing excellent operational systems into their companies. We believe in the unlimited potential of entrepreneurship and help our Members (clients) break through barriers and take their businesses to the next level. Our proprietary training program brings systemization to a company’s operations, develops an entrepreneur’s core business skills, and holds accountability to goals along with a clear business plan. Breakthrough Academy is now nine years old and continuing to grow rapidly, with over 900 business owners developing in the program and an awesome team of 50 running the show. We’ve had a tremendous track record of growth over the past 9 years. To fuel Breakthrough Academy’s future development, we’ll continue to add many exciting roles and people in the coming years. Because of this, we are looking for an Account Executive with a proven track record of closing deals, a passion for building genuine relationships, and a fired up spirit when it comes to helping others level up. THIS IS FOR YOU IF: You’ve got a natural, professional vibe that people are inclined to trust right off the bat You thrive on building long lasting relationships with prospects You love to talk business with successful entrepreneurs You understand the challenges that an entrepreneur faces on a daily basis, when running a company and can easily relate to them through real life experiences You learn quickly about business segments in order to relate to your audience You are resourceful and have a strong network to gain knowledge from You demonstrate a high level of integrity and will decide not to push a sale if it’s not the right fit for the prospect You set big goals and you are driven to consistently crush them You are a self-starter who enjoys working remotely You are a firm believer in a consultative approach to selling and left the hard sell behind a long time ago You are a skilled problem solver, and challenges are actually trampolines launching you to new heights (and yeah, you think it’s fun) You don’t need a supervisor checking in; you are self-motivated, organized, efficient, and always at the top of your game You balance socializing and productivity like a pro; you know when it’s a good time connect with people and you know when it’s time to get down to business You value realness and genuine interactions; you bring your authentic self to work, inspiring others to do the same You understand the art of listening and know when it’s your time to speak up IN THE ROLE, YOU WILL BE: Connecting with prospects in a consultative way and educating potential members on the value of the BTA’s proprietary training program through Discovery Calls Building relationships with business owners within the contracting industry Completing robust Business Assessment meetings with prospects to uncover their business challenges and provide the best solutions to meet their needs Closing deals with prospects to start their journey with Breakthrough Academy Driving revenue growth through proactive outreach to new and existing members Communicating clearly with all new members to ensure they are prepared and aware of expectations prior to starting the program Collaborating with the Member Success Support team to ensure all program preparation is completed on time and payments are in Collaborating with the team to organize and prepare for upcoming assessment meetings, ensuring everything runs smoothly Following-up on all communications while keeping a pulse on priority scores Keeping our CRM (ZOHO) updated with all leads, notes, and follow-ups to ensure accurate communication records Maintaining digital calendar and goal accountability sheet to optimize your flow and personal productivity Staying up to date and informed on BTA programs to deepen your understanding and maximize application in potential members’ businesses EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 5 years of experience in a high-performance sales role with a proven track record in closing Proven experience doing B2B sales with small and medium businesses or doing franchise sales using digital meetings and technology Strong entrepreneurship experience and business acumen Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Advanced skills in technology, with proficiency in CRM systems (ZOHO), Zoom, and Google Calendar Located in the Greater Vancouver Area and available for a hybrid work schedule Must be able to travel to our awesome in person Member & Team Events - we have a ton of fun together in epic locations from the beaches of Tulum to the mountains of Colorado The Nice to Haves: Experience running your own small-to-medium-sized business, or franchise, is an asset Experience with or comfort in prospecting is a plus THE BENEFITS Influence hundreds of small businesses across the continent and be a part of their future successes Be challenged to grow and develop your sales skills and career Have great opportunities to gain an inside look into the companies of successful entrepreneurs Collaborate with a dynamic team of high-performing individuals who thrive on teamwork Enjoy the flexibility of working within a team that embraces remote work opportunities A competitive salary and great benefits Enjoy cool travel perks in fun locations - our team events this year range from Carribean beaches to peaceful BC hot springs If this sounds like you and you feel ready to take on an awesome new adventure, let us know We thank you for your time and interest.
