Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Investment Officer to support pipeline development in markets and fund raising. Responsibilities: Managing investment pipelines. Origination and negotiation of investments. Working with co-investment partners to complete investments prior to first closing. Drafting of investment term sheets. Due diligence of prospective investees, including, inter alia, detailed financial analysis, management meetings and arranging third party due diligence. Preparation of screening memos and investment memos. Understanding and applying inter alia , investment guidelines, investment committee decisions and E&S policies. Working with legal counsel to negotiate final investment agreements. Working with internal and external stakeholders. Management and oversight of investment and operational team. Supporting fund raising. Supporting our client's Fund Business. Support the growth of the fund business, including new fund strategies. Supporting other businesses from our client. Skills: Have excellent analytical abilities. Have strong (written and spoken) communication skills. Be a team player. Have the appetite and capacity to learn new skills. Mezzanine or structured credit investing. Impact investing. Qualifications: At least 6 years relevant experience (minimum) in investing, lending, corporate finance, transaction services or consulting. Be a Portuguese speaker, either mother-tongue or mother-tongue level of fluency; and Have professional qualifications commensurate with his or her professional experience. A strong network with prospective investees and investors is a positive.
