Senior Estimation Engineer

Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in estimation, with at least 3 years in a senior role Strong knowledge of estimation software and cost simulation tools Proven track record in cost estimation for complex projects Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Responsibilities Develop and implement training initiatives for new and Junior Estimators Manage workflow and resource allocation within the department Establish and maintain quality control processes for all estimates Define requirements for estimation software, preliminary design tools, and cost simulators Co-ordinate with IT or software development teams to implement and update these tools Build and maintain professional relationships with key Stakeholders Prepare negotiation strategies based on project specifics and market conditions Lead negotiation meetings with clients, contractors, or suppliers Identify areas for potential cost savings or value engineering Analyse profit margins and adjust pricing strategies as needed Consider market conditions, competition, and company goals in final pricing decisions Regularly engage with suppliers to understand market trends and new products Negotiate favourable terms and bulk pricing agreements Ensure timely resolution of any supply chain issues affecting estimations Identify potential new clients and suppliers through market research and networking Attend industry events and conferences to expand professional network Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients on the Company's capabilities Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to pursue new opportunities Subscribe to and review relevant industry publications and reports Attend webinars, conferences, and workshops to stay informed about new technologies and methodologies Analyse competitors' strategies and market positioning TO APPLY: Only if you do meet the minimum job requirements and experience as mentioned above, you may submit a detailed updated CV.
