Junior accountant

We are seeking a Junior Consulting Accountant with a BCom degree and 2-4 years of experience to join our growing team. This is a dynamic, client-facing role offering hands-on accounting responsibilities and regular travel. Position: Junior Consulting Accountant Location: Bryanston, Johannesburg Salary: R25,000 - R30,000 per month Travel: 2 times a month (within South Africa) Key Responsibilities: Serve as a full-function accountant , managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and overseeing tax compliance. Provide consulting services to clients, offering expert advice on accounting practices and financial strategies. Prepare and present financial statements to clients, ensuring accuracy and clarity. Assist clients in budgeting, forecasting , and financial planning. Manage client relationships, ensuring all their accounting needs are met and providing proactive solutions. Travel twice a month to meet with clients and offer on-site support. Requirements: BCom degree in Accounting or Finance. 2-4 years of accounting experience , preferably in a client-facing or consulting role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously. Willingness to travel twice a month to client sites. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
