Job Title: Electromechanical Inspector
Location: Keighly
Salary: Up to £34k
Tenure: Permanent
Metalis are working with a specialist engineering company who design and manufacture machinery and production equipment for a range of industries. Due to continuous growth our client are looking for a Electromechanical Inspector to join their team.
The Electromechanical Inspector is responsible for ensuring that the machinery conforms to client expectations when installed on site.
Responsibilities
Work with the engineering & build team in the completion of any internal or customer non-conformances, to support a closed loop feedback and prevent reoccurrence.
Oversee the machine shipment as it leaves the plant.
Produce the shipment list.
Complete the inspection documentation and final report.
When required install, test and commission the machine on customers site dealing with non-conformances during the re-build and commissioning phase.
Support the Service / Aftermarket departments on retools and refits where necessary.
Undertake troubleshooting internally and on the customers site.Key Skills Requirements:
Qualified to NVQ Level 3, HNC or HND in Electrical Engineering or alternative required discipline.
Knowledge of production machinery & grinding processes
Understanding of machine tools is essential
Experienced in Soft PLC to iec61131
Understanding of Field Bus Profinet, Profibus.
Good customer service skills with expertise in troubleshooting, diagnosing and solving complex machining related problems
