Working as part of a local housing association based in Stafford who are the leading provider of quality, affordable homes and care services in the West Midlands.
Your new role
Working for a well established Housing association, you will join as the Cybersecurity Lead, developing and implementing robust cybersecurity strategies.You will experience assess and manage cybersecurity risks whilst leading incident response and coordinating recovery efforts.Your job will play an integral part in promoting security awareness through internal training and supporting as these changes are made and embedded.You will design and maintain secure system architectures whilst managing third-party security vendors and services in line with business changes.You will play a pivotal part in ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
What you'll need to succeed
Develop and implement robust cybersecurity strategies.
Assess and manage cyber security risks.
Lead incident response and coordinate recovery efforts.
Promote security awareness through internal training.
Design and maintain secure system architectures.
Manage third-party security vendors and services.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
You will have relevant cyber security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA) and knowledge of cyber security principles, risk management, and incident response.
Experience managing third-party SOC functions, SIEM platforms, and vulnerability management tools.
Strong technical background in systems administration and cloud security (ISO 27001).
Proficiency in triaging and resolving security alerts and incidents.
Familiarity with cyber security regulations, frameworks, and risk mitigation strategies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Proficient in O365 tools (SharePoint, Teams) and knowledge of ITIL V3/V4 Foundation (desirable).
Experience with project management for implementing security systems, process improvement, and delivering training sessions
Knowledge of Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Crisis Management is a plus.
