Job Description
Are you an expressive & passionate Maths teacher looking for a short term contract in January? We are working closely with a school known for their vibrant community and investment in their staffs development.
Want to be a part of a Maths department with intelligence and a sharp focus on staff well-being? This role is perfect for an ECT looking to gain some valuable experience as a Maths Teacher in a well-established team and general staff, as well as seasoned teachers looking to bring their unique talents to maintain this schools high standards for this maternity cover contract.
The Role of a Maths Teacher:
Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4
Starting January 2025, full time, until the end of term 6
Plan outstanding lessons that meet the needs of students of all abilities, supported by the current teacher
Take on the role of Tutor, delivering the PSHE/Values curriculum to your own tutor group
Ensure positivity is at the heart of all interactions, promoting enriching learning environments The Ideal Maths Teacher will:
Be confident teaching Maths to KS3 & KS4 Level, potentially KS5
Hold a Teaching qualification (with QTS) or equivalent
Meet the learning needs of key identified groups, including HPAs or students with SEND
Be approachable, engaging and nurturing
Have strong behaviour management skills
NQTs/ECTs welcome to apply
