Senior Print Finisher/Vinyl Cutter
About the company:
Our client is an award-winning retail window and pop-up display company and are currently recruiting for an experienced Large Format Print Finisher to join their print department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Carry out print finishing tasks as part of the daily running of the business (mounting, laminating, cutting, etc.)
Running finishing equipment (laminators, CAD-cutting table, plotters, etc.)
Ready to help out in other parts of the business as and when required
Carry out daily and other regular maintenance of finishing machinery
Quality control of finished items is essential
Update production and factory managers to ensure daily targets are on track
Required skills:
Experience in running and maintaining print finishing equipment is paramount (preferably expert with Zünd cutting tables)
Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is preferred but not essential
Strong understanding of the print process. Ideally the candidate will have good knowledge of all areas of digital print.
Good skills in applying vinyls to difficult surfaces is a distinct advantage
Fluency in English - both verbal and written - is required
