Java Software Engineer

We are seeking a talented intermediate Java Backend Engineer to join a leading financial services organization for a contract-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, with Kotlin experience being a significant advantage. The current systems are primarily in Java, but we are transitioning to Kotlin for all modern development.

Targeting the following Skillsets:

• Proven experience as a full-stack developer with a focus on Java backend development and React frontend development.
• Familiarity with REST API design, microservices architecture, and Spring Boot framework.
• Experience working within Agile frameworks and CICD pipelines.
• Previous involvement with product teams, demonstrating an ability to refine technical requirements effectively.
• A proactive approach to collaboration with product partners, contributing more than just coding expertise.

Plusses:

• Experience with Kotlin is a huge plus, but not mandatory.
