Management Accountant

Management Accountant - Maidenhead £40,000 - £50,000 6 Months FTC

We are delighted to be working with a well-established services-based organisation in Maidenhead, seeking a skilled Management Accountant. This role will focus on delivering accurate and timely management accounts across various business units within the group.

Duties will include:

• Reviewing and analysing monthly management accounts, identifying variances and communicating insights to senior management
• Preparing budgets and forecasts
• Managing accruals, prepayments, and margins
• Challenging existing processes, recommending improvements for greater efficiency
• Preparing sales reports and month-end balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting external auditors and assisting with year-end statutory accounts
• Contributing to the organisation's broader strategic goals

About You:

The ideal candidate will be studying towards ACCA or CIMA, with a good understanding of financial transactions and double-entry bookkeeping. Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups) and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels are essential.
