A surgery center is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage.
Immerse yourself in history with visits to Civil War battlefields like Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park. Explore historic downtown Fredericksburg with its museums, shops, and restaurants.
The CRNA position involves working 40 hours a week, starting between 6:00-6:30 a.m. and typically finishing by 5:00 p.m., with no weekend or on-call duties. The cases are divided evenly among eye, endoscopy, and orthopedic surgeries, with minimal pediatric involvement. There is significant use of regional anesthesia and ultrasound-guided blocks, as well as outpatient catheters. The CRNAs are highly skilled, with MDs focusing mainly on pre-operative care and performing blocks. The team operates four surgical ORs and three endoscopy suites, running all seven on two days a week and five to six on the other days.
