A hospital is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage.
Central Alaska offers a range of fun activities, from exploring the stunning Denali National Park with its breathtaking landscapes and wildlife to experiencing the thrill of dog sledding adventures. You can also immerse yourself in the local culture by visiting the University of Alaska Museum of the North in Fairbanks or relaxing in the soothing Chena Hot Springs, perfect for witnessing the Northern Lights.
The position involves 12-hour shifts, with call not required but available for those interested. The cases include general anesthesia, healthy pediatrics, OB, and vascular cases, as well as airway management, including occasional double-lumen endotracheal tubes for thoracic cases. Responsibilities also include ultrasound-guided blocks, neuraxial anesthesia, IV, arterial line, and central line placement. The facility uses Cerner for its EMR system, and temporary privileges are available for candidates with files that have zero red flags.
