Job Description

Job Title: Team Leader - EBD Children's Service
Location: Wembley
Salary: £15.70 per hour (40 hours per week) + Sleep-ins paid at £70.50 per night

Are you passionate about supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)? Do you have leadership skills and experience working in a residential children's setting? Our client is looking for a Team Leader to join their dedicated team in a 2-bedded EBD children's service in Wembley.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and support a team of care staff, ensuring high standards of care for the children and young people.

* Work closely with the management team to implement care plans and ensure that the service meets the needs of each child.

* Take an active role in the day-to-day running of the home, including hands-on care and support.

* Ensure that the service complies with all regulatory requirements, including Ofsted standards.

* Be responsible for safeguarding, risk management, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the young people in your care.

* Mentor and guide staff, providing support and supervision to ensure a motivated and skilled team.

Shift Pattern:

* The role involves working early shifts, late shifts, long days, and sleep-ins to meet the needs of the service.

* Sleep-ins are paid at £70.50 per night.

* Shifts will be given 1 month in advance

Requirements:

* Experience working with children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).

* NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People or equivalent (or willingness to work towards it).

* Leadership experience in a residential setting is highly desirable.

* Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.

* A genuine commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable children.

* Full UK driving license
