Role: Electronics Production / Test Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

Location: Northampton

A Northampton based in-house manufacturer of innovative security solutions is on the lookout for a Production Engineer to help with the prototyping, development and production of their cutting-edge products.

The role will involve taking responsibility for production runs and also assisting hardware engineers with the development and prototype testing of new products.

Responsibilities involve:

• Maintaining stock levels of products and components
• Production-run coordination including quality control
• Assistance in R&D
• Assembling electronic hardware
• Testing of hardware components and finished products.

Key skills required

• 5+ Years experience in a similar position
• Strong experience using lab test equipment oscilloscopes & signal generators
• Ability to solder to a high standard
• Thorough production builds
• Strong understanding of electronics and ability to fault find to component level

Due to the location, it would be preferable for candidates to have a driving licence and access to a vehicle.
