Location: Commutable to Radstock

Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000 + discretionary bonus

The role of the Contracts Manager – Commercial Glazing Systems will involve:

• Contracts Manager position managing the design, fabrication and installation of a range of commercial glazing projects including: aluminium curtain walling, windows & doors
• Liaise with internal departments on a regular basis to ensure smooth running of projects
• Producing RAMS and health & safety documentation
• Ensure that installation is to specification and quality standard
• Ensure that materials, deliveries and installations are in line with the agreed programme
• Checking and authorising payments to subcontractors
• Attending pre and post tender meetings as and when required
• Carry out snagging and final sign off
• Managing projects ranging in value from £10,000 to circa £1,500,000

The ideal applicant will be a Contracts Manager – Commercial Glazing Systems experience with:

• Must have Project Manager/Contract Manager experience within the fenestration market sector
• Ideally will have a strong background dealing with architectural glazing, curtain walling, fire rated glazing, structural glazing, windows & doors
• Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings
• Full UK driving license
• Must be IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Proactive and motivated individual with strong commercial awareness
