DevOps Engineer

Iris’s client, one of their Banking client is looking to hire DevOps Engineer for Halifax, Nova Scotia (Hybrid) Location – Halifax, Nova Scotia (3 days/week-Hybrid) Major skills : CI/CD pipeline, Kubernetes, Containerization Job Description: Responsible for gathering requirements for DevOps pipelines and recommending approaches & implement new DevOps pipelines. Assess requirements and make recommendations, where applicable, for alternative solutions/technology. Understand end state requirements in order to adjust DevOps pipelines Partner with release management to ensure deployments in pre-production and are done via CI/CD process. Create technical documentation and share knowledge back to the community & support production releases as necessary to ensure successful delivery of code. Experience Strong experience in Kubernetes. Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree with 7-10 years in DevOps Experience in CI/CD process using Jenkins, Ansible etc. QA experience is a plus but can teach QA process if pure DevOps engineer. Able to adapt quickly, problem solve, and willingness to learn Able to effectively prioritize own workload and focus across many streams of work.
