Senior Project Planner

Job Title: Senior Project Planner Location: Botswana, Jwaneng Job Type: 36 Month Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Mining Job Duties: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all key tasks and milestones are identified and tracked Collaborate with project team members to gather necessary information for project planning Conduct regular project progress reviews and provide updates to stakeholders Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines and develop mitigation plans Prepare reports and presentations on project status, progress, and forecasting Coordinate with various departments to ensure project objectives are met within scope, budget, and schedule Required Qualifications: Proven experience as a Project Planner or in a similar role Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in project management software Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in project planning within the mining industry Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of mining project lifecycle and processes Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Working Conditions: The role is office-based with occasional visits to project sites. May require working outside of standard hours to meet project deadlines. Travel may be required.
