As an ERM intern, you will have the opportunity to support embedding risk practices within Core Specialty while learning about the ERM framework and its components, which include drafting risk policies, risk governance, risk assessment, and risk reporting.

Core Specialty's Enterprise Risk Management ("ERM") team partners with business units and corporate functions to help ensure that our Company's risk profile is well understood and effectively managed.

This position can located in Cincinnati, Ohio or Indianapolis, Indiana.

Key Accountabilities/Deliverables:

• Support risk reporting duties to risk committees and other stakeholders (i.e., ensuring risk reports are complete, accurate, and adhere to Core Specialty templates)
  

• Collaborate with business units to assist with the review and revision of risk policies, guidelines, charters, executive summaries, and/or similar documentation
  

• Assist with updating and enhancing existing ERM processes, work papers, and documentation (e.g., risk reports, training manual, managing project timelines, etc.)
  

• Complete other ERM activities as directed by management
  

• Risk reports that are complete, accurate, and adhere to Core Specialty templates
  

• Risk policies, guidelines, charters, executive summaries, and/or similar documentation
  

• Up-to-date ERM templates and process documentation (e.g., risk reports, training manual, etc.)
  

Technical Knowledge and Understanding:

• Excellent computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  

• Proactive, disciplined, and driven to learn
  

• Highly organized with attention to detail
  

• Excellent communication and documentation skills
  

• Curious and enjoy working with cross-functional teams
  

Experience:

• Must be a current college student, working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Risk Management and Insurance, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field
  

• Able to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks
  

• Authorized to work in the U.S. without future sponsorship
