The Corporate Controller will report to the CFO of Process Insights and will manage the company's accounting department by providing financial information about all Company activities. Under the direction from the CFO, the individual will use independent judgment and complete advanced and specialized accounting/finance assignments along with assistance from the manufacturing locations. The individual will also obtain and analyze financial information to prepare reports, statements and recommendations. Due diligence assistance on future acquisitions will be essential.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works with local accounting teams (US/EMEA/APAC). Completes the consolidated month-end and year-end closing process, quarterly board of director's package, annual audit and effectively communicates with management, investors and external parties
  • Prepares analysis and reports that summarize company business activity and financial position in key areas including revenues, expenses, cash and other balance sheet accounts based on past, present and expected transactions
  • Oversees the global treasury management activities and optimization of cash disbursements and cash collections
  • Participates in a wide variety of special projects (e.g. forecasts, budgets, etc.) and compiles a variety of ad hoc analysis and reports
  • Key player in the due diligence and the potential integration of future acquisitions
  • Coordinates and complies with all external service providers including outside auditors and tax preparers, bankers, insurance brokers and carriers, etc.
  • Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, including CPA or CMA.
  • Master's Degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance, in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with financial reporting and consolidation software (Planful)
  • ERP experience (preferably Epicor) is required
  • Cost accounting experience required
  • Experience in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment preferred.
  • Must be able to be strategic and tactical in skills and execution. Must have ability to roll up their sleeves and have a "get it done" attitude.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent planning, analysis and execution abilities
  • Must have proven analytical and problem-solving skills. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected in this position.
  • ERP experience (preferably Epicor) required
  • Strong team player with solid organization and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
  • Private Equity experience a plus
  • Some travel is required
