Open Until Filled Tiger Care Program Coordinator
Provide development, coordination, and facilitation of school-age care programming for children from Kindergarten through Grade 6. This position is part-time afternoons approximately 2:30-6:00 pm. The daily schedule follows the school calendar of 169 student days.
Three to five years of experience working in a childcare setting is preferred. Experience managing a childcare program is desired. Certification in CPR/First Aid or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire is required. CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) and MN Child Care Certification are desired. A high school degree or equivalent training or coursework in child development or education (minimum 24 credits) is preferred. A degree in education or child development is desired.
The hourly rate starts at $18.82 per hour or more based on experience and follows the coordinator of programs salary schedule. Competitive benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, a PERA pension plan, paid holidays, and personal and sick days.
The position could be combined with a paraprofessional position (starts at $16.09) to create an 8-hour day (full-time).
