Please note the office is currently located in McKeesport but will be relocating to Etna by Fall 2024. The HOPWA Program Coordinator is accountable for the overall daily operations, development, and implementation of HOPWA Housing Programs and the Ryan White Housing Program, maintaining information on referral services, non-medical case management for the City of Pittsburgh and the PA Department of Health. The position focuses on securing and maintaining stability for all program participants that may be HIV/AIDS positive, homeless, or who may have additional risk factors. Responsibilities include communicating with medical case managers and maintaining confidentiality while consistently following the policies and procedures outlined in the HOPWA Guide. • A rewarding career with an opportunity to make a difference What we are looking for: We need a proven leader who will help our team members and Network leaders as they support the daily living needs of HOPWA program participants and who desires to develop trusting, caring relationships. The HOPWA Program Coordinator is required to:
  • Have an Associates Degree or higher from an accredited college or technical school or 2 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Possess a valid PA State Driver's License and a registered, insured working vehicle;
  • Maintain confidentiality of assignments while working under pressure of deadlines;
  • Be able to work a flexible schedule as required by workload;
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to support, advise, coach, and influence others;
  • Be proficient with PC and Microsoft Office applications and the operation of general office equipment;
